Adwords script - Negative keywords

We run a script on our adwords account that adds "close match variants" to the negative keyword list in order to make our "exact match" keywords exactly that.
We found the script online, but it has recently stopped working. We need someone familiar with adwords scripting to take a look and repair it. We assume google has maybe changed something which prevents the script working.
