Need help fixing an Adsense issue or at least working around it

The original adsense account was created with the wrong Country. Country of Georgia instead of Georgia in the US. Since it cannot be validated (PIN being sent to Country of Georgia instead of Roswell, GA), we cannot move on to get a new adsense account created and applied to the youtube channel. The channel has the old adsense account that can never be verified and I cannot figure out how to remove it from the channel.
