Long-Distance Moving Ads Specialist Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
PROJECT: Senior Google & Meta Ads Specialist
LONG-DISTANCE / INTERSTATE MOVING ONLY
Project-Based | High-Ticket Leads | Call-Focused
We are hiring a senior performance media buyer with proven experience running long-distance / interstate moving campaigns.
This is not local moving, not generic home services, and not form-only lead generation.
If you have not run ads specifically for interstate or cross-country movers, please do not apply.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
We generate leads exclusively for long-distance and interstate moving companies.
This project requires deep experience with:
High-intent Google Search traffic
Call-first funnels
Long decision cycles
Lead qualification and junk filtering
Origin-based geo targeting
This will begin as a paid test project, with ongoing work available for the right operator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and optimize Google Search campaigns for:
Long-distance / interstate moving
Cross-country relocations
Brand defense
Retargeting (RLSA / Display / YouTube)
Support Meta Ads as a secondary channel for:
Demand capture
Retargeting
Multi-touch attribution
Drive qualified phone calls, not low-intent form fills
Filter truck rental, PODS, DIY, and employment traffic
Diagnose lead quality and booking issues—not just CPL
REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
You must have:
Hands-on experience running long-distance moving ads
Managed $25k+/month+ in Google Ads (LD moving preferred)
Optimized for calls and booked jobs, not leads alone
Clear understanding of origin vs destination targeting
Strong negative keyword and query-mining discipline
Ability to clearly explain strategy and decisions
APPLICATION TEST (REQUIRED)
Detailed answers only. Short or generic responses will be rejected.
Google Ads — Long-Distance Moving
How do you structure Google Search campaigns for long-distance/interstate movers, and why should they never be combined with local moving campaigns?
How do you target origin cities while capturing nationwide destinations without polluting traffic?
What keywords and negatives are critical to eliminate:
Truck rentals
PODS / containers
DIY movers
Employment traffic
How do you prioritize and track qualified phone calls versus low-intent form leads?
CPL looks strong, but booked jobs are down. What are the first five things you investigate?
Meta Ads — Long-Distance Specific
When (if ever) does Meta make sense for long-distance moving?
How do you structure Meta campaigns so they support Google, rather than inflate junk leads?
What form fields or pre-qualifiers are mandatory for LD moving leads?
How do you retarget high-intent long-distance prospects across platforms?
Why does Meta often look profitable early and then collapse for LD movers—and how do you prevent that?
BONUS (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
Screenshots of long-distance moving campaigns (redacted)
Typical CPC, CPL, and call-to-booking conversion rates
Example of a long-distance campaign that failed—and how you fixed it
WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY
Local-only moving specialists
Form-only lead buyers
“Boost post” advertisers
Generalists without LD moving experience
Agencies that outsource execution
NEXT STEP
Qualified applicants will be invited to a 30-minute live screen-share to walk through:
Campaign structure
Keyword logic
Call-quality filtering
Scaling decisions
Long-distance moving is high-stakes and unforgiving.
We are looking for someone who has already made the mistakes—and learned from them.
Apply only if you meet the requirements above.
