Launch WordPress GA4, GTM, Ads
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I need a clean, end-to-end analytics foundation built from scratch for my WordPress site and then ongoing Google Ads campaign management once the data is flowing.
Here’s the flow I have in mind:
• Create fresh Google Tag Manager and GA4 accounts, link them together, and install the GTM container on WordPress (I’m fine with a lightweight plugin or direct theme insertion—whichever keeps load times low).
• Configure GA4 via GTM to track all pageviews so traffic numbers are accurate from Day 1. No e-commerce events are required right now; the sole objective is reliable website-traffic monitoring.
• Set up the key GA4 views, custom reports, and real-time dashboards I can open at a glance.
• Once GA4 data is verified, build one or two Google Ads search campaigns that pull conversion signals directly from GA4, and handle weekly optimisation—keywords, negative lists, ad copy tests, bid adjustments—during the first month.
Acceptance criteria
– GA4 property shows live traffic with zero duplicate pageviews.
– Tag Manager passes Google’s Tag Assistant validation.
– WordPress site performance score remains within 3 % of the current baseline.
– Ads campaign approved and spending with measurable impressions inside 48 hours of launch.
Access to the WordPress admin and hosting panel will be provided after we agree on the timeline. Let’s get the tracking right first, then make the ad budget work harder.
