Google and Meta Ads Conversion Tracking Setup

Job ID: 40434190

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

My new retail showroom opens in Armadale, Melbourne on 30 May 2025 and the paid traffic is already budgeted—now every click needs to be measurable. Before the Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns launch, I need a one-time technical setup that captures:

• Online purchases through the website
• Store visits attributed via meetings logged in HubSpot
• Website form submissions / FB form submissions

The plan is to treat HubSpot-logged meetings as the proxy for in-store visits, but I’m still undecided on whether those should roll into the main conversion column or remain a secondary metric, so I’ll be looking for your best-practice advice here.

SCOPE OF WORK
Part 1 — Google Ads Conversion Tracking

Audit existing Google Ads account and Google Analytics setup
Confirm Google Tag Manager (GTM) is installed on the website — install if not present
Set up the following conversion actions in Google Ads:

Form submission on /showrooms/armadale-vic/ (thank you page trigger or form submit event)
Phone call clicks on 1300 759 859 (click-to-call tracking)

Link Google Ads to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — confirm goals are importing correctly
Verify all conversions are firing correctly using Google Tag Assistant or GTM Preview mode
Provide a brief loom or written confirmation of what was set up and how to verify it

Part 2 — Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads Conversion Tracking

Confirm Meta Pixel is installed on latexmattress.com.au — install via GTM if not present
Set up the following custom conversion events:

Lead: form submission on /showrooms/armadale-vic/
Contact: phone call click on 1300 759 859

Set up Meta Conversions API (CAPI) — server-side tracking to future-proof against iOS limitations and ad blockers. This is non-negotiable for accurate data.
Verify events are firing correctly using Meta Events Manager and Pixel Helper
Confirm both browser-side (Pixel) and server-side (CAPI) events are active and deduplicating correctly
Provide confirmation of event setup with screenshots

Everything must be live—and fully validated—before the campaigns switch on. If this sounds straightforward to you and you’re comfortable working with GA4, GTM, Meta Events Manager, and HubSpot, let’s get it done.
