Google Ads Purchase Tracking Setup
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need purchase-level conversion tracking configured inside my existing Google Ads account for my Shopify store. The account itself is already active, but I’m not certain whether the Google Ads app (formerly Google Shopping & YouTube) is connected in Shopify, so you will need to verify that first and decide whether native app tagging, Google Tag Manager, or manual theme edits are the best route.
Key goals
• Create or refine the “Purchase” conversion action in Google Ads, passing correct order value, currency, and transaction ID.
• Install the necessary tags or confirm the app integration so every completed checkout on Shopify fires the conversion reliably.
• Test the setup end-to-end (using test orders and the Google Tag Assistant) and provide a brief confirmation report or screenshots once conversions are registering in the Google Ads interface.
I will supply admin access to both Google Ads and Shopify. Please keep the store live and uninterrupted while you work.
