Boost Local Sales: SEO & Ads
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
SEO & Google Ads Specialist (WA) — Convert Local Searchers into Buyers
We’re a Western Australian fencing business with an online store. Traffic is steady, but sales aren’t where they should be. We already run Google Search and Shopping—Search has a strong CTR, Shopping has some sales but ROAS < 1 and conversion values aren’t aligning. We need a specialist to fix tracking, unblock/enable key keywords, and scale profitable Search across our priority categories:
Colorbond Fencing
Pool Fencing
Security Fencing
Retaining Walls
+ NEW PRODUCT launch (details on engagement)
You’ll work directly in our platforms as a signed-in user.
Objectives
Fix tracking accuracy so GA4 ↔ Google Ads purchase values match our store (order value, GST handling, and deduping).
Resolve disapproved/unrecognised keywords and ensure full coverage of high-intent local terms.
Restructure & scale Google Search to drive profitable sales in WA (Perth, Bunbury, key regional markets).
Stabilise Shopping (optional: improve or temporarily limit it) so it doesn’t burn budget.
Support a NEW product marketing push with the right landing page and search strategy.
Scope of Work
Week 1: Audit & Fixes
Tracking & data integrity
Validate GA4 purchase events, values, tax/shipping logic, and deduplication with Google Ads.
Implement Enhanced Conversions and ensure consistent UTMs.
Debug with Tag Assistant + GA4 DebugView; reconcile order IDs vs. Ads conversions.
Keyword eligibility
Review disapprovals/“not eligible” issues (policy, trademarks, restricted terms, match types, negatives, location/language, RSA pinning).
File appeals or restructure where needed; add negative keyword governance to prevent conflicts.
Quick SEO pass for Ads alignment
Titles/H1s, meta, headers, and landing pages tuned to mirror ad groups; add missing LocalBusiness/Product schema where helpful.
Weeks 2–4: Build, Launch, Optimise
Search campaign rebuild (Search-only focus)
Tightly themed ad groups per product & intent (e.g., “colorbond fencing supply,” “install,” “prices,” “DIY kits”).
2–3 RSAs per ad group with pinned variants for testing; sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets, price & promotion extensions, location extensions, and call extensions (ad scheduled).
Smart negative keyword strategy (global + campaign + ad group).
Bidding: start with Manual CPC/ECPC or Max Conversions/Max Conv. Value (depending on data volume), then move to tCPA/tROAS when stable.
Shopping stabilisation (if we keep it on)
Merchant Center checks (feed quality, categories, GTIN/MPN, shipping, policy), exclude low-margin SKUs, improve titles & attributes for priority lines.
New product push
Launch a focused Search campaign + a clean offer-led landing/section; add promo/price extensions and supporting content.
Deliverables
SEO mini-audit (conversion blockers + on-page metadata updates for ads alignment)
Local keyword map (WA-first) + updated metadata
Search campaign build & launch (with extensions and negatives)
GA4 + Google Ads conversion tracking fixed (values aligned)
30‑day performance report (clear insights + next-step plan)
Success Metrics (first 30 days)
100% of purchases tracked with Ads value within ±5% of store revenue totals (order‑ID match).
Keyword coverage restored for previously blocked/ignored critical terms.
Quality Score uplift and CPC reduction on core ad groups.
Positive trend in conversion rate/ROAS on Search (we’ll agree on CPA/ROAS targets once we review margins).
Note: Moz Domain Authority helps organic visibility, but Google Ads ad rank is driven by bid + Quality Score (expected CTR, ad relevance, landing page experience). We’ll leverage your on‑page strength for QS gains to outbid competitors at a lower CPC.
Tools & Access
Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Merchant Center
(CMS access for landing copy/SEO tweaks; WordPress/WooCommerce or equivalent)
Tag Assistant, GA4 DebugView, Google Ads Editor, Search Console, Merchant Center diagnostics, Looker Studio for reporting
