Golang Development and RPM Packaging
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
We are taking over development of an abandoned version of a project, and need some bugs in it fixed. We already fixed some ourselves and fixed the most obvious build issues, but we are experiencing some problems that seem to be arising from various dependencies the golang code has.
Specifically, as part of this project, we have a problem where the diagnostic checks are saying that SSL/TLS and password protection isn't enabled on a prometheus exporter when we can easily verify by pointing a web browser at it that it is in fact using both TLS and password protection. Fixing this spurious warning is the key objective of this assignment.
We are looking for someone who is, following the successful completion of this job, interested in continuing work on this project on an long term hourly basis, adding additional features and getting a build system working for related projects.
