Game Developer
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m commissioning a new action adventure that must run smoothly both in the browser (WebGL/HTML5) and desktop app for Windows and macOS. I need someone, or a small team, who can take the project from concept to shipping and has the battle-tested portfolio to prove it.
What I’m after
• Core loop: tight, responsive platforming and combat with a clear sense of progression.
r any approach you’re comfortable with as long as performance stays rock-solid at 60 fps.
• Clean UX/UI that scales to different resolutions.
• Online or local multiplayer is a bonus if you can implement it without bloating scope.
• Optimised assets and code to keep load times low.
Deliverables
1. Playable vertical slice to lock mechanics.
2. Full game build with installer/web build, source code, and documentation.
3. Post-launch support window for bug fixes.
When you reply, please include:
• Links or videos of shipped games you led or helped build.
• The game engines, frameworks, and art/animation pipelines you prefer for a 2D side scroller.
• Whether you’re solo or part of a studio and how you handle art, sound, and QA.
• A realistic schedule from kick off to launch, plus the hours per week you can devote.
• Any creative twists you’d pitch to make the gameplay stand out.
I value developers who think beyond assigned tasks and propose smart solutions early. If this project clicks, there’s plenty more work ahead on future levels, DLC, or entirely new titles. Let’s build something fun together.
