Deploy React App (Lovable) on GoDaddy Shared Hosting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Overview:
I have a React app built with Lovable (Vite/React SPA) that needs to be deployed to a GoDaddy shared hosting account running Apache. The existing site has a PHP backend with several routes that must remain fully functional after deployment.
What needs to be done:
Export/build the React project and upload static files to public_html via GoDaddy File Manager or FTP
Configure .htaccess for React client-side routing (I have a base version ready)
Ensure existing PHP backend routes (/admin, /application, /resident-services, /uploads, etc.) are preserved and not overridden by the React router
Test all routes — both React frontend pages and PHP backend paths — to confirm everything works post-deployment
Backup existing site files before making any changes
Tech stack:
React (Vite build output)
GoDaddy Shared Hosting (Apache/cPanel)
Existing PHP backend (no framework, custom routes)
Deliverables:
Live working site on the existing domain
.htaccess confirmed working
All existing backend routes verified functional
Brief summary of what was done
Requirements:
Experience with GoDaddy cPanel / File Manager
Comfortable with Apache .htaccess and mod_rewrite
Familiarity with React SPA deployments
Please do NOT bid if you plan to restructure the backend — frontend deployment only
Note: I have an .htaccess file already written. This is mostly a deployment + QA task. Should be straightforward for the right person.
