CI/CD Pipeline Engineer

We are seeking a skilled CI/CD Pipeline Engineer with expertise in Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket to manage and streamline our code deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient code deployments from GitHub to our servers. Additionally, the role involves managing multiple databases for different environments: QA, UAT, Dev, and Prod. Our technology stack includes a front-end built with Next.js and a back-end powered by Python Django.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Manage code repositories and integrations with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
- Automate code deployments from GitHub to various server environments.
- Configure and manage separate databases for different environments:
- qa.domainname.ch
- uat.domainname.ch
- dev.domainname.ch
- prod.domainname.ch
- Ensure seamless integration between the front-end (Next.js) and back-end (Python Django).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and code deployments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure best practices in CI/CD and code management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket for version control and code management.
- Experience in automating code deployments to servers.
- Proficiency in managing multiple databases for different environments.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, specifically Next.js.
- Strong understanding of back-end development with Python Django.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in DevOps and system administration.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
