Open-Source Agriculture Data Sharing Platform
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Development of an Open-Source Ecosystem for Agricultural Data Sharing
Project Description:
I am looking for a skilled developer or development team to create an open-source platform that will allow farmers, researchers, and agricultural stakeholders to collect, process, and share data efficiently. The platform should focus on integrating drone-based data and sensor inputs for monitoring crops, soil conditions, and weather patterns.
Key requirements:
Open-source: The platform should be available for public use, with a focus on transparency and collaborative development.
Data management: Ability to collect and process data from various sources (drones, sensors, manual inputs).
User interface: A user-friendly dashboard for farmers and researchers to view and analyze data.
Modular design: The system should be scalable and capable of adding new features or datasets in the future.
Data security: Ensure the integrity and security of data being shared, in line with relevant data protection regulations (GDPR).
Pilot locations will include at least three farm sites, where we will test the integration and usability of the platform. Your role will include:
Initial platform development
Integration of drone and sensor data
Open-source license management and documentation (e.g., MIT License)
Technical support during the pilot phase
Looking for developers experienced in:
Open-source development
Data visualization and management tools
Agricultural technology and IoT integrations
GDPR compliance for data collection platforms
This small budget project is simply way to get GRANT. I need to have at least small foundation about agriculture and open source.
Its one key requirement for getting a grant.
This project has potentional because here in my country there is no company nor agriculture database available.
