Minimalist Portfolio Site Build

I need a clean, modern-looking portfolio website whose single goal is to showcase my development work. The overall aesthetic should be minimalistic—plenty of white space, subtle typography, and smooth interactions that keep attention on the projects rather than on decorative clutter.

Core requirements
• A one-page or light multi-page build anchored by a prominent Projects showcase
• A dedicated Contact area with an embedded form that sends directly to my email and includes basic spam protection
• Fully responsive layout that displays perfectly on desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Lightweight code: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and vanilla JavaScript (or a small React/Vite setup if you feel that offers an advantage without bloating)
• Optimised images, lazy loading where appropriate, and Lighthouse scores solidly in the green

I will provide project screenshots and copy; you handle layout, styling, and deployment to my GitHub Pages (or Netlify—open to what you think best suits a portfolio). Hand-off should include all source files and a short README outlining build/installation steps.

Acceptance criteria
1. Design matches the agreed wireframe and utilises a modern minimal palette.
2. Contact form submits successfully and shows confirmation/validation messages.
3. Page loads under 2 s on a standard 4G connection and passes basic SEO checks.
4. Code is neatly commented and pushed to the repo for me to review.
