GitHub Organisation Setup Consultant — 1–2 Hour Video Call

Job ID: 40424673

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

We have a small but expanding development team — a business analyst, two developers, and more coming — all actively pushing code to our company's GitHub organisation.
I've set something up, I'm paying for something, but I'm not confident I've done it right. I need an experienced GitHub administrator to jump on a call with me (1–2 hours) and walk me through it properly.
What I need help with:
Reviewing our current GitHub organisation setup
Confirming we have the right plan/licensing for our team size and use case
Setting up correct repository permissions and access controls (who can see what, who can push where)
Branch protection rules and sensible defaults for a small dev team
Managing external contributors or contractors safely
Security best practices (2FA enforcement, SSH keys, etc.)
Making sure we're compliant and doing things the right way

What I can't do:
Give you access to the actual code repositories. This is a consulting/advisory call only — you'd be guiding me through the setup on my screen.
What I'm looking for:
Someone who has set up and managed GitHub organisations professionally — ideally in a business or enterprise context. You just need to know GitHub inside and out.
Deliverable: A 1–2 hour video call. Ideally you'd follow up with a short summary of what we changed or what still needs attention.
Budget: Open to proposals — please tell me your hourly rate.
Timeline: ASAP — this is already running and I'd rather fix it sooner than later.
