GitHub Error Resolution Ruby on Rails Coder Needed
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
We are looking for an experienced coder to resolve numerous vulnerabilities on our GitHub repository, including: code, security and dependency vulnerabilities. We are seeking a proficient ruby on rails coder with practical experience in debugging, error resolution and interpretation of GitHub error codes.
For interested freelancers, a detailed project proposal is a must in the application. Key points to include are:
- Your experience in resolving similar vulnerabilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge in GitHub functionalities.
- Proposed timeline for error remediation.
Significant experience with GitHub and a strong track record in problem-solving and error resolution will greatly assist in successfully handling this project.
By accepting this project you must agree to the following requirements:
* Work collaboratively in a team with other coders, be willing to be managed, work independently, multitask, meet deadlines and quickly adapt to changing priorities;
* Translate technical jargon into layman's terms for project managers who are not experienced coders;
* Maintain excellent communication skills and commitment to being responsive to communications and requests within 24hrs of receiving them;
* Allow project managers at least 1 week to respond to requests, as some may have other work schedules during the week or weekends that may cause a delay in their responses;
* Be willing to receive "notes" (written feedback on deliverables assigned) and incorporate those notes in revised submissions of the deliverables in a timely fashion, understanding your work may go through multiple notes and revisions before the deliverables are considered complete, and that payment will not be issued until the deliverables and notes are finalized, reviewed/tested and accepted by your project manager;
* Be willing to use and share your email address to be added to the appropriate platforms in order to successfully complete the deliverables, maintain communications within the Freelancer platform whenever possible and be prepared to have a video conference meeting via Google Meet if necessary to discuss issues in real-time (make sure you have reliable internet access and functional microphone, speakers and webcam in the event of a scheduled video conference);
* You will be working with a diverse team, so you must be respectful of teammates and project managers who are members of the LGBTQ+ community or who may have different ethnicities, races, gender identities, religious practices or different levels of expertise than you.
