GitHub-Entra Integration & Copilot Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need our GitHub Enterprise Cloud organisation converted to Enterprise Managed Users and fully linked to our existing Entra ID (Azure AD) tenant. The goal is simple: every internal account should authenticate with Entra ID SAML/SCIM, inherit our conditional-access policies, and be ready to consume GitHub Copilot. We expect no more than fifty users to start, but everything has to scale cleanly when we add more.
Here is what I am looking for:
• Clean migration of our current Enterprise Cloud org to the Managed User model without losing repositories, issues, or actions history.
• Configuration of Entra ID as the identity provider, including user provisioning, group mapping, and automatic de-provisioning.
• Assignment and verification of Copilot licences so that each managed user has immediate access once the switch is made.
• Clear hand-over notes: steps performed, settings changed, and a rollback plan in case we need it.
I will give you owner access to a sandbox enterprise account plus an Azure test tenant if you prefer to dry-run before touching production. Success for me is signing in with an Entra account, seeing policy-driven MFA kick in, opening VS Code, and having Copilot suggestions online within the same session.
If you have completed a similar GitHub Enterprise Cloud → Managed Users migration, especially with Copilot enablement, let me know; that experience will weigh heavily in selection.
