Firebase Deployment and Documentation
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
We’re looking for a skilled Firebase engineer to take our completed Firebase Studio project live in production and prepare full documentation for an external audit.
The project (VSD Network) is already built and stored on GitHub. Your job will be straightforward:
clone → review → deploy → verify → document.
After the production deployment is confirmed, you’ll provide a clean, audit-ready set of documents proving the system is live, stable, and properly configured.
Your Role
Clone the GitHub repository and review the project structure, code quality, and Firebase setup
Deploy the project to Firebase production using the Firebase CLI (Hosting, Functions, Firestore, etc.)
Provide a deployment log showing a successful production release
Perform manual/automated testing to confirm everything works on the live environment
Prepare documentation required for the audit
Required Deliverables
Code Review Summary — notes on architecture, security considerations, and compliance (PDF or Markdown)
Deployment Log — raw Firebase CLI output confirming production deployment
Test Evidence — screenshots or logs proving the live system works correctly
Each document must reference the commit hash used during deployment.
Acceptance Requirements
Production site must load correctly with no build/runtime issues
All deliverables must be submitted in PDF or Markdown
Logs must clearly include the Firebase project ID and commit hash
Active Firebase components include:
Hosting
Firestore
Cloud Functions
(Plus any other services configured in the project)
Access Provided
GitHub repository access
Temporary Firebase project collaborator access
Required environment variables
