Development of a complete Language Learning platform/website/app
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm looking for a comprehensive platform akin to Preply or Cambly, but also containing skills that Duolingo has (learning the vocabulary, having flashcard tools, going through stories).
I am looking for a whole platform that I myself can host to teach (akin to Preply/Cambly/EnglishFirst/OpenEnglish) which also gives the student tools to go through stories/vocabulary/flashcard like Duolingo. It must give me all the capacity to add any content on my own, including for example grade tests, a pool of many questions that will be attributed randomly.
For example:
- I need a tool of a heat map in a weekly calendar for when students are be available (it automatically confirms and send reminders whenever +3 students can make it at a time).
- I need a certain tool for chat comments (like Hotmart does with their courses) when in the videos.
- I need the possibility to have moderators as users to answer the doubts.
Essential Features:
- Interactive lessons - videos that will pause and ask the student simple questions to keep them retained at the classes which is something that Coursera does - and progress tracking with gamification and ranking (like Duolingo does).
- Support for recorded video lessons, text-based stories, interactive activities, and live calls with 3+ students
- A calendar with a heat map indicating student availability (and preference).
- Automatic reminders and confirmations for classes
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in developing interactive e-learning platforms
- Experience integrating live call features (it could use some third party for example for the video call feature Preply uses a third party, by the way transcription is a must. Also some live translation on the chat as well, which could use again third parties like DeepL) into a learning platform
- Ability to create a user-friendly, intuitive interface
- Proficient in designing effective progress tracking tools
- Knowledge of building a heat map feature on a calendar or very skilled in knowing where to get a well-rounded one
- Competency in setting up tools to make automatic reminders for classes
