WordPress PHP/JS Backend Expert
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need an experienced WordPress developer who can dive straight into the core of an existing site and keep it rock-solid. Your day-to-day work will revolve around PHP and JavaScript, touching WordPress core, fine-tuning custom code, and making sure every database query and API call runs smoothly.
The immediate priorities are:
• Extending core functionality without breaking current themes or plugins
• Squashing performance-related bugs and tightening security holes
• Building fresh, maintainable modules that hook cleanly into WordPress actions and filters
• Streamlining MySQL queries and optimising backend load times
• Version-controlling everything through Git so changes stay traceable and rollback-safe
To hit the ground running you should already be comfortable writing clean, well-documented PHP, vanilla JS or jQuery where appropriate, and working directly with WP functions, hooks, and the REST API. Experience integrating third-party or internal APIs will be useful as several endpoints are waiting in the backlog.
