Recover Lost GitHub Code

I have unexpectedly lost access to a GitHub repository that contains the core source code for my project. The repo no longer appears under my account, and I do not have a reliable local copy. I need help retrieving everything that can still be salvaged—ideally the full commit history along with the latest source code.

You’ll be working with whatever traces remain: cached clones, forks, reflog data, GitHub support exports, or external backups if we find any. Once recovery is complete, I need a clean, functioning Git repository I can push back to GitHub, plus clear documentation of the steps you took so I can safeguard the project in the future.

Deliverables
• Recovered repository (.git directory with working tree)
• Written summary of recovery steps and tools used

Acceptance Criteria
• All source files compile or run as before
• Commit metadata preserved wherever possible
