Linux Server Plugin Support
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I run a Linux-based game server and I’m looking for an experienced server-side developer who can jump in as needed to keep everything running smoothly. Your core focus will be configuring, optimising, and troubleshooting a range of plugins—game-related, utility, and security—plus handling recurring features such as monthly crates and other in-game rewards.
What I need done
• Review and refine existing server configs, ensuring stability and performance
• Install or update plugins, adjust permissions, and resolve any conflicts between them
• Diagnose and patch bugs that crop up after updates or player load spikes
• Set up scheduled drops (e.g., monthly crates) and make sure they trigger reliably
• Tighten security settings so exploits and backdoors are closed off without impacting gameplay
• Document the changes you make so future maintenance is straightforward
Environment & tools
The server runs on Linux and you’ll have SSH access. Familiarity with common control panels, MySQL/PostgreSQL database tuning, and version control (Git) is a plus. Clear communication through Discord or similar chat is essential.
Scope & collaboration
This is ongoing hourly work: some weeks may only need a quick tweak, others a larger rollout. If you have prior experience managing high-traffic game servers or writing custom plugins, please mention it and share examples.
I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit—let’s keep the server humming.
(I would prefer p/m payment, not hourly.)
