Launch React App on Cloudways Hosting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have a complete React-Supabase project sitting in GitHub and automatically mirrored to my Cloudways server; I just need someone who knows Cloudways’ Node.js stack well enough to turn that code into a live site.
Option1:
The developer will have to setup all the task along with our team on a zoom/google meet so we can document every step until success.
Option2:
The developer or administrator must provide a detailed list of all commands and tasks performed on the server upon completion. We will review and validate that each action functions correctly and can be replicated for future projects before formally closing the task.
Here’s the current state:
• The repository contains a production-ready React build created with Vite (or “create-react-app” if you prefer calling it lovable React).
• Cloudways is set up, but I’m only using the default temporary URL for now—no custom domain yet.
• Git pulls are functioning, but the application itself isn’t serving; it looks like a Node process / build command or Nginx routing tweak is missing.
• Environment variables may be required for Supabase keys and other secrets; I am not 100 % sure which ones belong where and would appreciate your guidance.
Acceptance criteria
• Hitting the temporary Cloudways URL loads the compiled React front-end with live connections to Supabase.
• “npm run build” completes without warnings or errors on the server.
• GitHub → Cloudways sync results in zero-downtime redeploy or a documented single-command restart.
• All required environment variables are listed and explained.
