Laravel/CodeIgniter Auth & CRUD

I’m extending a PHP web application that currently mixes Laravel with a few legacy CodeIgniter modules, all running on a MySQL backend. I need the following pieces completed and wired together cleanly:

• Secure user authentication (registration, login, password reset)
• Role-based permissions so I can control feature access per user type
• Full CRUD for the core data models, built with reusable controllers and views

Everything must respect PSR-12 standards, use Composer for dependencies, and be version-controlled through Git. Eloquent is preferred for the Laravel side; on the CodeIgniter side, use its query builder—either way, keep queries optimized for MySQL.

Hand-off deliverables should include migrations/seeders, middleware for the permission checks, and brief setup notes so I can reproduce the install in staging. If you’ve used Laravel Breeze, Jetstream, or CodeIgniter Shield, let me know—plug-and-play speed is ideal.
