Go Backend Enhancement & Maintenance

Job ID: 39979903

Budget: $10 – $20 USD

I need an experienced backend engineer who lives and breathes Go to keep our platform moving forward. Day-to-day you will be shipping new features, hunting down the inevitable bugs, and squeezing every last drop of performance from the service. Everything runs in OpenShift and all code is managed through Git, so comfort with containerised deployments and a clean Git workflow is essential.

Here’s what success looks like:

• Feature development – you’ll take requirements straight from our product board, design the solution, and merge production-ready code.
• Bug fixing – triage issues, write tests that expose the fault, and close the ticket with a solid, reviewed fix.
• Performance optimisation – benchmark, profile, and tune Go routines, database calls, or anything else that’s slowing us down.

I’m budgeting roughly ₹500 per hour and am happy to adjust for the right level of expertise and turnaround time. Work is continuous; we’ll start with a small ticket so we can both make sure the collaboration feels right, then move on to a steady stream of tasks.

If you have a track record of delivering reliable Go backends in an OpenShift environment, let’s talk. Send a quick note about your most relevant project, how you approached performance tuning there, and your preferred working hours.
