Find coordinates on a pdf document - Simple
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I have a pdf document that is a printable form. I need the coordinates for each item on the form. There are 72 items in the form. I have more and more forms to do in furture projects. It is a single page.
The following is instructions on how I need this done:
1. Open the file in gimp (free image software)
2. Specify that you want the width to be 595 (the height will automatically be 842). (this will make the coordinates be in points).
3. For each item in the list use your cursor to determine the x and y coordinates (this is in the bottom left)
For each text item: the y will be the top of the tallest letter (usually a capital letter), the y will be the furthmost right point of the text. The x_stop point will be the next object on the page on the x axis.
For checkboxes the x and y will be the inner top left of the checkbox. There is no need to fill in the width.
4. record your results in the excel document attached.
I have completed the first one for your reference. You can round to closest whole numbers.
Many of the items will have similar numbers so you won't need to measure them all. For instance there is a grid of 30 items where you will only need to measure top row and one column and you will be able to figure out the rest.
I will be allocating this task in approx 24 hours. If you need to see the document before you bid please put that in your bid. I can not share the document widely.
