I need a short story writer

Got a english exam coming up in a week and would like to memorise a short story for the composing section. Need the story to include language techniques, dark tone/mood, dark character ext. Would be cool to have a story about the aftermath of a murder the main charcter has just committed. Short story 2 pages max.
