Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
A mobile one stop shop that benefits your mental and physical health. Called 'Wholesome Health' this truck will provide Queenslanders from the city, to suburb to rural areas the chance to get out and engage with others as well as get mental health information, read books, enjoy free fruit and sporting equipment along with affordable clothing.
This will allow our team to provide an area in every suburb that provides services to benefit peoples mental and physical health as well as provide a place to have a friendly chat. Being mobile allows us to reach more people and take outdoor workshops further also, including engaging those who may otherwise not have access to certain activities, workshops or fresh fruit and food etc.
This in our eyes is a game changer, and the money raised goes back to charity; of course our own charity to continue the work we do; however this project will also run special offers on certain weeks where the money will then go to causes that cover topics such as Domestic Violence, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander, Women Centres, LGBTIQA+ and more.
Needing to get some grants under out belt to make it happen. :)
