I have written a story on 20 (A4) pages that I want to edit and rewrite into a screenplay.
This is a short version of the story so that you can get an insight into what kind of story it is about and get the chance to show what you can do and how skilled you are as a screenwriter.
What I want you to do before I choose you is to rewrite only 1-2 pages of this so I can see that you are the right person for the job and if you can deliver a good job, you can be involved in the rest of the story as well.
