A Touch of Immortality

Despite its name, the story itself is actually far from what I've got planned for it. To sum it up, it's the story of the MC, Zythus Lin, and his vengeance against Hell itself for the possession of his entire immediate family and him being forced to kill them one after the other with his own hands. In their final moments, the family managed to gain a single moment of clarity, and all said in a voice of fatigue and joy "Thank you." Afterwards he seeks out his extended family only for them to shun him since everyone refused to accept the fact that demons are real due to fear. However, things don't really turn out the way anyone would expect it and he then has to turn his blade against an oncoming pantheon of old, but powerful pantheon of eldritch gods who are out to enslave his world in a fit of madness and then capture their wills for their own religion. Eventually it turns into him single-handedly going for the pantheon after he was captured into a spell that induced madness into those that are affected. All this did however is anger him even more due to the fact he was already enraged from his family's death from the demons. Realizing this, the eldritch gods find their own amusement in his suffering and continue to torment him from their own sanctuaries and eventually turn to the same demons that killed Zythus Lin's family seeing that their goals aligned.
