I am writing a non-fiction book about the police Investigation into my missing adopted Indigenous daughter's disappearance from Goderich, ON. I presented to the MMIWG Inquiry in 2018. My daughter's name is Mistie Murray and she is of Mi'kmaq ancestry. My husband, Steve Murray and I are Caucasian. We adopted Mistie when she was 4 years old. When she went missing, the police became obsessed with tunnel vision and theorized my husband, Steve Murray, had murdered Mistie due to her difficult teen-age behavior. They charged Steve with the Second Degree Murder of Mistie shortly after her disappearance. They had only a theory, but no evidence. Therefore, to promote their fictional theory, police concealed 100 sighting reports of Mistie, falsified evidence and committed many criminal code violations and Violations of Human Rights. We hired Toronto Attorney Brian Greenspan as Steve's defense attorney. Those involved with justice and the Courts told us Mr. Greenspan was the best criminal defense lawyer in Canada, so we hired him. One year after Steve's arrest, Brian Greenspan discovered massive amounts of evidence indicating the police had concealed 100 sighting reports of Mistie from friends and acquaintances, had concealed evidence which showed Steve did not murder Mistie. Although Steve was acquitted at trial, the police continued to make public statements indicating they still believed Steve had murdered Mistie. After the trial, Brian Greenspan gave me all 10,000 pages of the Disclosure, including police officer notes, all police records of the investigations and all court transcripts. The evidence of the police crimes are clearly documented in these documents which I possess. I have gone through the Disclosure and written a documented report containing lengthy descriptions of every action, every detail of this story. It is an extremely sensational story, almost an unbelievable story of police corruption which I have analysed at great length. However, what I have written to date is a thorough factual report, not a book written by an author, waiting to be published. My need at present, is to find someone to help me turn my long detailed report into a book - which may involve using a ghost writer.
