Story and screenplay

I am wanting to have a story created of an unexpecting protagonist who is just on their way to the store to get something, and they are taken by surprise on an extraordinary adventure as they try to make their way back home.

The story will end with them getting back to where the story started.

Although I eventually want a screenplay made, this project is just for the story to be written, with a list of events and characters.
