Screenwriter Needed for Historical Fiction Film Short
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
Screenwriter Required for Film Short.
Are you passionate about Ancient History? Have you ever wanted to explore a bygone era? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
The purpose of this role will be to assist in turning my story into a screenplay with the intended future prospect of being produced into an independent film short.
About the Story:
Set during the Roman occupation of Britianna during the 2nd century and the fabled disappearance of the Legio IX Hispana (Lost Legion).
(The plot entirety is to be revealed to the successful applicant)
Length of Story:
The timeframe is around 10 minutes; if you go by the page-per-minute guideline, ten pages.
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will collaborate with me to create a screenplay from a devised story til completed satisfactorily. Several drafts and revisions may be required but are not limited to. The successful applicant is to regularly communicate during the writing phases, whether via Zoom/Email/or Chat. Creative freedom is not restricted; however, the successful applicant should keep true to the original story unless stated.
*The use of FinalDraft (whilst not necessary) is preferred.
Turnover:
A first draft would be preferred within two weeks. An overall completion date has not been set.
Applicants should have a portfolio with at least two samples of their script work, highlighting their writing styles.
Applicants submitting only an IMDb profile link without a portfolio will be passed up, as will applicants who offer a set number of revisions.

As listed. Refrain from excessive rates.
