Research & Scriptwriting for a Rock Documentary
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We're a small-but-growing YouTube channel that creates short documentaries (15-25 min) about famous Rock & Metal artists. Our recent videos on Iron Maiden, Queensryche and Dream Theater have each crossed 200K views.
We're now looking to feature guest writers on the channel, and hopefully turn them into regulars if the script is well done.
The project includes:
* Researching a certain artist's biography/career, and extracting potential storylines
* Finding relevant video footage online (old interviews, shows etc.) to support the narrative
* Writing a rich & detailed script according to a style guide and references
Requirements:
* Deep interest in Rock and Metal artists - and the "behind the scenes" stories
* Small portfolio (at least) of writings or previous works
You should only apply if this is your passion. This is by no means a quick job - it takes a while to be immersed in the research and write a detailed and compelling script. The expected turn-in time is 30 days, but we're flexible as long as there's progress.
