Proposal For Ghostwritten 25k Story: Fairy Tales -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Select your favorite fairy tale, one that needs to be turned upside down, twisted and contorted, until a dark fantasy/paranormal with horror elements tale emerges. Take in account that it will be for 25k.
It must 100% original with no plagiarism. A take that is bold, brave and gothic...think Brother's Grimm,Holly Black, Karen Marie Moning's Makayla Lane series, Laurell K Hamilton's Merry Gentry, Julie Kagawa's Iron Fae Series, with twists of Stephen's Gunslinger Series, Bentley Little's The Return & The Collection, Clive Barker & Neil Gaiman.
For the awardee, this will be a stand-alone. Romantic tropes are required, but not an integral plot point. A main selling-point is an attractive relationship between protagonist and antagonist, whether MM, MF, MMF, MFF, and beyond. Be prepared 1-2 for medium-heat sex scenes, depending on how they add to the plot, enriching it, not making up for lack thereof.

1 1/2 to 1 page summary: Approximately 300-800 words.
This summary should include clearly displayed beginning, middle, end (no cliffhangers--wrap it up), main characters, motivations, goals, plot points, major events, internal struggles, external environment, character growth, villain, ,and their motivations.
Two quotes (total amount in US dollars to write the book itself): One for a first draft. Another for a polished book.
