Multi-Genre Screenplay for Teens
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am seeking a talented screenwriter to craft a screenplay that navigates across multiple genres including Sci-Fi, Drama, Romances, Comedy and Thriller. The screenplay should target a teenage audience, focusing on the theme of 'overcoming obstacles'. Exiting high school and relationships, entering college 1 or 2 parties then a science experiment goes wrong with the new people he met at these parties. He gets stuck 25 years before he was born. He sees the image or progenitor of people he knows in his time, while in college his prior girlfriend passes(he knows nothing about it and is faced with the dilemma of going back to the past when he fixes it or letting go and move forward).
but 15 years in the past her image is their and she swears they met before while her past image is more of a traditional American woman the one in his time is a lot more racy and bold which ultimately leads to her death. Her past image gains shows little of her future image traits after meeting him. (If he decides to stay in the past they live happily ever after if he moves on when he gets back to his time she is alive but with someone else and her eyes are the same color as his).
Key Requirements:
- Craft a compelling narrative that balances elements of drama, comedy and thrilling suspense.
- Center the story around relatable teenage characters/Young adult facing and overcoming various challenges.
- Infuse crude but modest humor and heart into the screenplay, while also maintaining a sense of tension and excitement.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A strong portfolio of screenplays, particularly those aimed at a teen audience.
- Exceptional storytelling skills, with a knack for creating multi-dimensional characters and engaging plotlines.
- Experience in writing across different genres, with a particular focus on drama, comedy and thriller.
If you are passionate about storytelling and can create a screenplay that resonates with teenagers and embodies the theme of overcoming obstacles, I would love to hear from you.
