Looking for a freelance writer who actually loves Indian food (and knows how to write like a real person)
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
Hey — I run an Indian recipe site and I’m looking for a writer to help with short, engaging intros and info texts for recipes. Nothing overly descriptive or wordy — just fun, informative writing that gets to the point. A bit of cultural or historical context, maybe some nutrition info, maybe a personal memory or something quirky that makes the dish more than just a list of ingredients.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
- You genuinely enjoy Indian food — and you’re curious about it
- You write in a simple, clear, and personal tone
- No fluff, no filler, no food-blogger rambles
- About 300 - 600 words per recipe
- Around 5 recipes per week
- No AI texts - I can spot it. Please don’t waste either of our time
You write because you actually have something to say, not because you’re filling space
- Your English reads naturally — ideally native-level
- You’re willing to do a bit of light research for each recipe
I’m not after a content machine — I want someone who’ll take the time to think about why a dish matters, where it comes from, or what makes it fun, surprising, or nostalgic.
If that sounds like you, send me:
- A short note about who you are and why this would be a good fit
- A writing sample
- Your rate per recipe
No agencies, no AI, no content mills. Just someone who writes well, cares about what they’re writing, and knows how to make it enjoyable to read.
