Long Term Fantasy/Paranormal Writer

Hello!
We are looking for a native English-speaking writer to add to our team. If you are a good fit, we would ask for a series of books of 10k words and love to work with you LONG TERM.
The working relationship will include discussing ideas of what direction the series could go in and then you would have creative license/freedom to write your work.
The target audience is women aged 30-50 who enjoy paranormal stories and are looking to read adult romance - it's preferable to have a strong female heroine as the protagonist.
To make sure you are a good fit the initial milestone is a short 5k standalone story about either a family of werewolves, a girl discovering magic/mythical beasts/vampires.
So that I know you have taken the time to read the description, please include the word "Tails" at the start of your bid.
In addition to the work is entirely your own please be aware:
#1 The work will be submitted as a Word document, 5000 words long
#2 A 2 paragraph summary will be included at the start with a table of contents
#3 We may ask you for one revision based on a few notes from our editor (this is included in the Upwork system as "request changes", but added here as a reminder)
#4 Preferably written in first person(or third if you have a strong preference), but should be written in the past tense

1) How quickly would you be able to write 10k words?
2) Which sub-genres do you prefer?
3) Are you comfortable writing steamy scenes?
