When Fatima, his favourite wife in Akure, contacts the HIV virus, Mr. Innocent is forced to do the test. He is a carrier, and now he must confess to all his wives, who each thought she was the only one, and have them all tested with terrifying outcomes.
Simi, a pretty young woman is already smitten by Mr. Innocent, and waiting to be joined. He has promised to do the needful when he comes around Portharcourt, her homeland. Her parents wait and are angry that he is delaying. A delay they will soon realize is a blessing from God alone. But Simi fears she may be pregnant. What else could be at stake for this young woman, besides being a single mother, that is, if Innocent does not show up.
