Ghost Writer for Prolific Online Business Expert
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
We are looking for a skilled direct-response or expert copywriter to help our CEO (a well-known online business expert) to write a book that will be self-published and used as a lead magnet.
While this is an individual project - if it goes well there is plenty of potential for continued work, if that's something you're interested in, as we're in serious talks with a major streaming network for a TV show about our business and industry.
We are an Online Coaching Business founded in 2018 and our CEO is well-known as one of the "OG" coaches who produces unparalleled results.
We have written many ebooks, run webinars, 80% of our business is organic while 20% is from paid ads, but writing an actual book is a first. With years of content already created, this should be quick and easy with your help to drive the project forward.
Your job would be to help outline the book, select the best idea and title that will sell, help write the book, meet with our CEO to gather research and material - and essentially bring this book to life with support from A to Z (ideating the book to getting it printed and setup on Amazon / self-publish).
This would include but is not limited to,
- Providing marketing support such as researching book ideas, identifying target audiences, and securing endorsements from established authors or experts in the field
- Collaborating with the author to develop an outline for the book based on the topic and intended audience
- Conducting interviews with experts in order to gather information that is relevant to the book’s topic
- Editing and revising drafts of the manuscript according to the author’s specifications
- Writing, rewriting, editing, and proofreading the manuscript until it meets the author’s satisfaction
- Finding and coordinating a publishing team such as editors and graphic designers to get the cover made and book published
- Working closely with the author to ensure that the book meets the publisher’s standards in terms of style and content
- Researching topics related to the book’s subject matter and writing an outline for the book based on this research
- Offering suggestions for improving the structure of the book, including chapter titles and subheadings
This is our first attempt at writing a self-published book so your job is to help make the process as easy and quick as possible - while facilitating its success from start to launch!
