We are seeking a talented and passionate Educational Trailer Producer to create an engaging and informative trailer for a wildlife conservation project. The project aims to raise awareness among middle school students about endangered animals and the vital efforts being made to protect them in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. This trailer will serve as an educational tool to inspire empathy, understanding, and action.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Curation: Select and organize compelling pictures and video footage from a 2-week volunteering experience in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, showcasing endangered animals and conservation efforts.

Script and Storyline Development: Craft a compelling script or storyline that effectively communicates the message of wildlife conservation, including the challenges posed by climate change, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict.

Narration/Text and Music Integration: Decide on the use of voiceover narration or on-screen text to convey information. Select suitable background music that enhances the emotional impact of the trailer.

Visual Effects and Editing: Edit the content to create a polished and visually captivating trailer. Add transitions, text overlays, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.

Educational Content: Include accurate and age-appropriate information about the endangered species featured, their habitats, and the specific threats they face. Highlight successful conservation strategies.

Call to Action: Create an engaging call to action that encourages middle school students and viewers to get involved, support conservation efforts, and learn more about the topic.

Feedback and Revisions: Be open to feedback and make necessary revisions to ensure the trailer effectively engages and educates the target audience.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in producing educational or documentary content, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
