Jake, a single father, goes to a talk on internet security geared for the parents of teenagers. He learns a lot of how to monitor his 16-year-old son’s internet activity by using different monitoring software, and then invests in one of these programs. He discovers his son, Ben, is on sites where there is bullying, lying, and pornography. Jake is drawn into this and through a series of events leads him to become a rapist, and then attempts to rape a cop.
