Classic Western Ghostwriter
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
Classic Ol’ West writers wanted.
We’re looking for experienced fiction writers for ongoing steady work in the ‘ol west genre - as in Louis L’Amour style classic westerns. At least 2 samples of your previous work (ideally in the classic western genre) must be provided.
You must have a strong command of the English language, write in 3rd person and be familiar with the life and slang/language used in the 1870s American Western Frontier.
To highlight your writing skills, each successfully screened candidate will be given a 2500 word contract ($30) for a short sample. A plot will be provided for this sample. These finished samples will be closely reviewed and the winner(s) then offered a subsequent contract for a 35,000 word manuscript.
Budget for future contracts will be based on the quality of this 2500 word sample.
We are looking for someone able to provide short manuscripts – plots provided (30-40,000 words) in 4-5 weeks.
