I am the British husband of a Spanish woman and married for 25 years. I am also the father of two young adults who were themselves born in Spain and are currently studying at Spanish universities. Both speak English and have been in the UK many times. I now want to help my children become full British citizens, as they have both clearly stated that they also want this.
We are therefore embarking on this journey to British citizenship for them. I understand that our case should be straightforward and uncomplicated in so far as I, as the father of the two applicants, am a British National born and raised in the UK and with full citizenship rights.
However, the reason we would benefit from comprehensive and experienced support is because I have Parkinson’s Disease and do not want to take on the necessary tasks myself. Yet I need the process to go smoothly and as quickly as possible and therefore feel that we need the comprehensive support.
