Booklet about parental burnout
Budget: £200 – £300 GBP
A booklet written for parents about:
- what is parental burnout
- how is it different to work burnout
- what are the signs to look out for
- who is most at risk of experiencing parental burnout
- what is the impact of parental burnout on yourself, your family, friendships, work etc
- what can you do to prevent parental burnout
- what can you do to recover from parental burnout
The booklet should be informative but not formal or clinical. It should highlight the risks and impact but be hopeful and, wherever possible, be positive. It should use reputable sources of information (e.g. research articles) and references should be numbered and included as endnotes so that it doesn't interrupt the flow of the reader.
There isn't a word limit, use as many words as it takes to provide the information above. I'm looking for quality over quantity - a well written and researched guide that informs parents rather than overwhelming them. Any relevant quotes you find would also be welcome.
I recommend you start here with your research:

**I will send further articles once the proposal is accepted
About you: you are a parent, a writer and can understand and summarise research articles into words that most people can understand. Your writing style is informal and engaging. You don't need to have a background in psychology or health, and actually it might be best if you don't as you are less likely to use jargon.
