We need a native German speaker to review our translated texts
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
The texts have been translated from English into German. There should not be any major errors. However, since it is a translation from another language, there might be minor errors related to expression, ambiguities, redundancies, missing transition words, etc. So they will fix errors related to the way we tell the story. We want these texts to sound as if they were written by a native German speaker.
We are preferably looking for someone who has a degree in German language or another related subject.
We have often worked with professional proofreaders. If you come up with excuses like "oh, I signed up for a proofreading job, not editing, ghostwriting, etc." or "I will pay extra for every mistake I correct," this is not the job you are looking for.
We want you to find solutions, not excuses. That's why the proofreader needs to be directive and take a hands-on approach. If we fix the errors ourselves, why would we hire a proofreader, right?
