NATIVE GERMAN EDITOR - 53-page Easy German Language Learner Text -HanukkahGames
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Native German Editor with Experience working in Canva.
Looking for an experienced NATIVE level German Editor for a short-term project to edit and proof a short German text written for language learners. You will edit and make your revisions directly into the design in Canva. Some projects can also require some basic formatting of text within additional images to correct any language in the graphics. Most of our texts are written by non-native language teachers based in the U.S. and so the main purpose of editing is to correct any errors, not to revise for style. Thus, this is a straightforward editing job.
This is a one-time job proofreading a 53-page text on HanukkahGames. This contract could well turn into ongoing French editing, translation, and potentially writing new texts in the future. Our app is called E-Lit (learn more here https://www.e-litapp.com) and we publish language learner texts used mostly at this time by language teachers in the US, and we are constantly writing more texts and looking for qualified contractors to assist.
The rate for proofreading and editing this 53-page text is $12 USD and the project must be completed by Tuesday, December 7. We will add a $2 bonus since this is such a tight timeline.
Please note that while the rate of pay may seem low, this is NOT a typical 53-page book. Each page consist of two to three sentences per page, comprising about five to six lines of text in 28+ font, with several repeating sentence patterns that are used on multiple pages, so that the actual editing is often only a phrase per page for most pages in a level two text such as this job.
It is intended for language learners, and a good deal of space on the pages are given to images. You can read a few sample pages in the attachments below to get an idea of the scope of this text.
