Washington LEG Stamp & Maps
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a completed Targeted Geotechnical Evaluation & Critical Area Geologic Hazard Assessment for a Washington SFR site and now need a Washington-licensed Engineering Geologist (LEG) to place your professional stamp on the report and prepare three supporting maps in JPEG format. The report itself is architect-authored; you will be reviewing it for accuracy and completeness, adding any brief clarifying notes you feel are needed, and then certifying it with your LEG stamp so it can be submitted to the local jurisdiction.
Alongside the stamp, I also need:
• 1:24,000 Site Vicinity Map
• Site Map Aerial Photo
• Study Area Percent Slope LiDAR Topographic Map (with site-specific annotations)
I already know the online sources for each layer; we will work together to pull the data, draft the annotations, and export final, high-resolution JPEGs ready for insertion into the report. If you routinely use GIS tools—ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar—please mention it, as it will make the mapping portion faster.
Acceptance criteria:
– LEG stamp and signature applied to the final report (PDF)
– Your name (and company's name, if provided) initials or company logos will be inserted into various sections of the Assessment report, indicating that you have reviewed specific contents
– Three maps delivered as high-quality JPEGs, geologically accurate, correctly annotated, and sized for 8½ × 11 pages
– Brief confirmation letter (one page) indicating your review scope and concurrence, suitable for permitting files
Timing is flexible but sooner is better; as I get closer to awarding the project, I will need you to provide your Washington state license (LEG) number and a short note on your recent Washington-state geologic hazard work when you reply.
Lastly, to allay any liability concerns, since you are only reviewing and certifying the previously prepared Assessment, on project acceptance I will execute an agreement to indemnify you from any future liability that might arise in the use of the report.
