Tarpon Springs Geotech Investigation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need two boreholes drilled on a residential lot in Tarpon Springs, FL and a full geotechnical report produced from the recovered samples. Borehole depth will follow whatever the municipality specifies once we confirm their exact requirements; please be ready to adjust in the field if their inspector asks for a deeper cut.
Only the laboratory tests that the local code mandates are necessary—nothing more. If Tarpon Springs calls for soil composition, compaction, bearing-capacity, or any similar analyses, include them; if they do not, omit them so we keep the scope (and cost) lean.
I will bring any regulations or reference documents already in my possession, and I expect you to cross-check, fill in gaps, and confirm current standards so we stay fully compliant. Think of this as a true collaboration on the rule book.
Deliverables
• Field drilling of two boreholes to municipality-approved depth, with standard SPT or equivalent sampling
• Laboratory testing strictly limited to local requirements
• Boring logs, lab results, and a concise, Florida-sealed geotechnical report with bearing recommendations, footing depth guidance, and any notable site constraints
Timing is flexible but I would like the field work completed within two weeks of award, with the final report following as soon as lab results are back.
