Slope Landslide Assessment & Recommendations
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I’m ready to commission a detailed landslide risk assessment for a sloping block where I plan to build a single dwelling. No previous geotechnical data exists for the site, so the work will begin with on-site investigation and sampling.
The finished report must thoroughly evaluate soil stability, current and future water-drainage behaviour, and the slope gradient. From that analysis I need practical, council-ready guidance on two fronts: construction techniques that will keep the house safe and stable, and an environmental impact assessment that shows how the build can proceed with minimal disturbance to the surrounding land and waterways.
Deliverables
• A signed PDF landslide hazard report ready for local-authority submission, complete with site maps, soil logs, stability calculations and factor-of-safety modelling.
• A concise summary sheet detailing recommended foundations, retaining measures, drainage layouts and any vegetation management required.
• Editable CAD or GIS layers for all slope and drainage mapping.
Please outline the investigative methods you’ll use (e.g. boreholes, CPT, LIDAR, GeoStudio/Slide2 modelling) along with your timeline and any similar projects you have completed. A prompt turnaround—ideally within four weeks—will help me keep design approvals on schedule.
