Single-Pole Billboard Foundation Design
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I need a complete foundation design for a digital billboard that will sit on a single pole and rise between 20 ft and 40 ft above grade. The site is underlain by clay, so soil-bearing capacity, potential settlement, and drainage considerations are critical.
Please create a solution that meets typical U.S. code requirements for wind, seismic, and overturning loads; I will forward the exact sign weight, sail-area data, and local design parameters as soon as we start. Reinforced concrete drilled shaft, spread footing, or any other configuration you deem most efficient for clay is acceptable as long as you justify the choice with calculations.
Deliverables:
• Signed and seal-ready structural drawings in PDF and DWG
• Full calculation package showing load cases, soil interaction, and safety factors
• Brief installation notes that a contractor can follow on site
